Wajiha Timori
Managing Partner
Wajiha Timori is an accomplished lawyer and former advisor to the Afghanistan Central Bank, with extensive legal experience since 2018. She was acknowledged as a Tier 1 lawyer in 2020 by the Legal 500 for her adept counsel to domestic and international clients while at Kakar Advocates.
Her expertise includes mining, energy, banking, and beyond. She earned a Master's in Law (LLM) in International Business Law from the American University of Central Asia. Recognized with accolades like the 40 Under 40 Award from Kardan University.
With roles in government and the private sector, such as Legal Advisor and General Director of the Legal Directorate at Afghanistan Central Bank and Senior Legal Specialist at the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum TAPI Coordination Office, Wajiha has made an impactful career. She's a member of the Afghanistan Independent Bar Association (AIBA) and the American Chamber of Commerce in Afghanistan (AMCHAM).
Minda Aguhob
Senior Advisor
A technologist, healthcare advocate and researcher, Minda spent the past 15 years illuminating how to reform healthcare and education for better performance using technology. She is passionate about the effective use of data and community relationships to develop innovative processes that improve information and performance.
A New Yorker living bicoastally with San Francisco Bay Area, Minda founded and leads Peakfoqus, a company that designs focused, smart solutions for peak health, currently working with the senior market. She aims to improve and integrate technology in a way that makes a transformative difference for people.
Minda holds a masters degree in human development & psychology from Harvard University. She also produced TEDxBushwick, having founded it in 2015. Her ultimate goal is to raise the level of love in action in the world, and develop technology in support of humanity.
Khalid Mohammadi
Associate Partner
Khalid Mohammadi, an accomplished corporate lawyer and Associate Partner at IDPS, brings extensive corporate and commercial expertise to his role. Formerly the Legal Director General of the Central Bank of Afghanistan and the Director of Trade and Transit Agreements at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.As a Senior Associate Attorney at a private law firm for nearly four years, he focused on banking, telecommunications, business registration, share transfer, business dissolution, and drafting joint venture agreements. As a licensed attorney, he effectively represented significant international clients in Afghan courts.
With a bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science from Kabul University, Mr. Mohammadi showcased his commitment to legal excellence through participation in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition. His multifaceted background, blending public service, private practice, and dedication to legal education, underscores his valuable contribution as an Associate Partner at IDPS.
Tamim Mansoori

Tamim Mansoori is a seasoned expert in the FinTech industry, boasting a decade of experience both nationally and internationally. His expertise encompasses not only accounting software but also financial and core banking software, showcasing a broad and deep understanding of the technology that powers the financial world. Throughout his career, Tamim has worked with a variety of financial institutions, helping them optimize their operations and improve efficiency by implementing state-of-the-art software solutions.
His comprehensive knowledge of financial systems, coupled with a strong technical background, enables him to provide strategic guidance on technology implementation and optimization. Tamim's dedication to staying abreast of the latest trends and innovations in FinTech ensures that he is always at the forefront of the industry, ready to provide the most up-to-date and effective solutions to our clients.
Frances Isabell Gallegos

Frances Isabell Gallegos is a seasoned accounting professional with a management background. Currently a Staff Accountant at A.Y. Bassam & Co., she has previously managed accounts payable at Achieve Without Borders and overseen inventory and accounts receivable at Philippine Wine Merchants.
Frances holds a BBA in Auditing from Far Eastern University, equipping her with the knowledge to deliver top-notch accounting services. Her dedication to continuous professional growth, combined with her expertise and commitment to excellence, make her a key asset to our team and integral to our success
Ahmad Yama Bassam
Managing Partner
Ahmad Yama Bassam, an international development financial expert and entrepreneur, holds a Master's from Harvard and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He successfully completed the examination FINRA Series 7, 66, 34, and 32 exams.
He founded True Colors Investing, a pioneer in socially responsible online trading platforms, and served as CEO until its acquisition of ThreePoint Capital Group, LLC. Later, he joined Moore Global (formerly AHG), advising multinational corporations and governments on accounting, taxation, finance, and economic development, backed by USAID and other global aid agencies. He also advised DFID and the World Bank on the modernization of financial and banking sectors in Central Asia.
Before founding A.Y.Bassam & Co. LLP, and IDPS, he conducted a study funded by the Asian Development Bank to strengthen an Asian nation's financial markets sector. Currently, he offers global advisory services on taxes, accounting, and finance. Additionally, he volunteers as the CFO at Co-Caring, a non-profit dedicated to community-driven initiatives.
